Frequently Asked Questions
What information is required for a custom plastic part quote?
3D drawings in IGS/STEP/X-T format are preferred. CAD drawings with weight information or physical samples are also acceptable. Please also specify the required quantity and any special requirements like painting, printing, or assembly.
What materials can you handle for production?
We work with various materials including PC, PP, ABS, Nylon, PA6, PA66, TPE, PVC, PBT, Glass Fiber reinforced plastics, AS, PS, PMMA, and rubber materials like NBR and Silicone.
Can you provide design advice for injection molding feasibility?
Yes, our engineering team evaluates part designs for injection feasibility. We check for potential problems like unnecessary plastic thickness that could cause sink marks or add unnecessary costs before proceeding.
What color options are available for plastic parts?
We can produce parts in any color specified within the Pantone and RAL color systems.
What is your typical lead time for molds and production?
Typically, samples are sent within 30-35 days of the mold order. Production lead time ranges from 2 to 8 weeks, depending on the order size.
Do you provide a guarantee for the mold life?
We provide a lifetime guarantee. If a mold begins to age after high-volume production (e.g., 500,000 shots), we will create a new mold at our expense to ensure stable and continuous production.
